Stop 1: U.S. Grant Ancestral Homestead (Derenagh, Co. Tyrone)

  • Welcome by costumed guides plus tour of the restored cottage and grounds

  • Local historian talk: “From Here to The Whitehouse”

  • Traditional music tuition workshop and performance

Stop 2: Ulster American Folk Park

  • Welcome by costumed guide plus tour of the Ulster American Folk Park.

  • Walk in the footsteps of bold migrants who set sail for America in the 18th & 19th centuries.

  • Discover the Mellon homestead, the historic birthplace of Thomas Mellon, still standing proudly on its original site.
